Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Tax Accountant with a rapidly growing entertainment and sports company in the Miami – Fort Lauderdale area. Responsibilities Prepare and review US 1120 corporate consolidated federal and state income tax returns Assist in the preparation and filing of consolidated quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and footnote Collect and analyze financial data, tax return supporting schedules, including tax consolidations, tax depreciation, and state apportionment Prepare and review quarterly tax estimates and extensions Research various tax issues and determine appropriate tax treatment and related tax reporting Respond to all tax related notices and bills Maintain tax depreciation schedules for various entities Assist with compiling, analyzing, and presenting supporting documentation for income and franchise tax audits Maintain the tax compliance calendar and ensure all governmental filings are prepared and filed accurately and timely Assist with sales tax, property tax and business license issues as necessary Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred Active CPA license or progress towards a plus Minimum 3 years of federal and state income tax experience Prior public accounting experience a plus Experience with OneSource Income Tax preferred
