The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader with a proven track record in executive-level lending within a credit union or community financial institution. This role is pivotal in overseeing all lending operations, driving sustainable loan growth, and ensuring strong credit quality and an exceptional member experience. Key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership across all lending functions, developing and implementing lending policies, and managing departmental budgeting and performance metrics. The SVP of Lending will also be responsible for guiding lending strategy, product innovation, and team development in alignment with the organization's mission and growth objectives. The ideal candidate for the Senior Vice President of Lending position at the company will have a strong background in consumer, mortgage, and business lending, and a demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive growth, and manage credit risk. They must be a strategic, collaborative leader committed to member service excellence, with a focus on sound risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The role requires the candidate to have executive-level experience in lending, be adept at evaluating and introducing competitive lending products, and have a deep understanding of NCUA regulations, state laws, and internal policies.
