Our agency client is looking for a full-time SEO Account Manager to join the team. You will serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of digital marketing clients, ensuring exceptional account management, strategic guidance, and long-term retention. This role focuses on driving client value through strong communication, performance insights, and growth-focused account strategies. This role is fully remote but you must live in one of the states listed to be considered: AL, CO, FL, IL, IA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, MD, SC, TX, VA SEO Account Manager Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of 20-40 clients as the primary point of contact Develop and execute customized account strategies aligned with client goals Identify and close upsell opportunities and secure contract renewals Communicate campaign performance, ROI, and strategic insights clearly to clients Collaborate with Client Success Managers to execute deliverables and reporting Monitor performance metrics and proactively address client challenges Represent the company at client events and industry conferences Create thoughtful, relationship-focused client experiences SEO Account Manager Requirements Minimum 3 years of client-facing experience in a digital marketing agency Strong knowledge of SEO, local SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization Proven success managing client relationships and driving retention Experience analyzing performance data and presenting insights to clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and HubSpot Experience with legal, medical, or dental clients is a plus Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred but not required In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
