Blü Prime Steakhouse – San Antonio, TX Server Assistant / Food RunnerJob Summary Join our locally owned, upscale dining team as a Server Assistant / Food Runner , where your attention to detail, sense of urgency, and commitment to hospitality help create exceptional guest experiences. In this fast-paced fine dining environment, you’ll support the front-of-house team by delivering food with precision, maintaining an organized dining room, and ensuring seamless service throughout each shift. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in high-energy environments, enjoy teamwork, and take pride in maintaining elevated service standards. Candidates must be physically capable of carrying heavy trays and assisting with daily dining room floorplan setup, including building and arranging tables. Key Responsibilities Provide warm, professional, and attentive support to guests and service staff Deliver food accurately and efficiently while maintaining fine dining presentation standards Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow Assist servers with table maintenance, water service, clearing, resetting, and guest needs throughout service Build, move, and arrange tables daily according to the restaurant floorplan and reservation needs Carry heavy trays safely and efficiently throughout the shift Maintain clean, organized dining areas, service stations, and expo areas Support opening, running side work, and closing duties with consistency and urgency Anticipate team and guest needs in a fast-paced environment Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards consistently Assist with polishing glassware, silverware, and maintaining presentation standards Work collaboratively with servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional hospitality Qualifications Previous restaurant or fine dining experience preferred Ability to carry heavy trays and remain active for extended periods of time Ability to lift, move, and arrange tables and dining room furniture daily Strong communication and teamwork skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Bilingual Spanish and English preferred What We Offer Competitive pay (hourly + tips) Flexible scheduling Paid training and development opportunities Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive, team-oriented work environment Sundays Off Why Join Blü Prime?
