Job SummaryJoin our vibrant team as a Server/Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator that ensures our guests have an exceptional dining experience.In this dynamic role, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, handle cash transactions, and provide outstanding customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment.Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and be part of a passionate team dedicated to excellence.Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including fine dining service when applicable Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and knowledge of food handling practices Requirements Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience with food industry tools like serving trays, bussing supplies, and basic math for cash handling Excellent communication skills along with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required by the restaurant's hours of operation Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences!
