Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic food and beverage team. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen staff Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular dishes, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation protocols in food handling and food safety practices Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and reservations management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising service quality Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Previous experience in serving or host/hostess roles is highly desirable; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly Hospitality-oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences Join us if you’re ready to bring your energy, enthusiasm, and expertise into a vibrant environment where every shift is an opportunity to delight guests!
