Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry Provide detailed menu descriptions, upsell specials, and recommend wine or cocktail pairings to enhance guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and foster positive guest relations to promote repeat business Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and provide correct change Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain cleanliness and flow Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in serving roles including host/hostess duties or bartending is a plus Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques Join us if you’re passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively setting!
