Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and dietary options. Ensure food safety standards are met throughout service, maintaining cleanliness and organization. Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, providing assistance as needed. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with culinary terminology is beneficial for effective menu communication.
