OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment.As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food and hospitality, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.Reports to:Dining Services Manager Job Overview:Work very closely with our membership and their guests to make memorable dining experiences at Rolling Road Golf Club.Education and/or Experience:Qualified Servers will have at least 1 year experience in a dining environment, county club experience is a distinct plus.High School Diploma or GED Responsibilities and Duties: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as strong memorization skills. Servers should also have a working knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine. Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude. Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. Engage with customers in a friendly manner. Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions. Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. Help food preparation staff when necessary. Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff. Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised. Able to operate a point-of-sale system. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner. Ability to lift 20 lbs or more. Willing to stand or walk for extended periods. Availability to work evenings and on weekends, including holidays.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:Food provided Work Location:In person.
