Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales. Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure a clean and efficient dining environment. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations effectively. Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances your ability to assist in food handling and kitchen support. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
