Server's Assistant

Overview Mira is looking for server assistants to join our team! Mira is a Mediterranean restaurant in the Elmwood Village. The menu highlights the cuisines of Italy, Spain, Greece and other countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea. We have a strong focus on house made pastas, charcoal grilled meats & vegetables and a Mediterranean focused beverage program. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for hospitality. They need to be energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the goal to provide guests with a wonderful experience. Responsibilities Work with servers to create a seamless experience for guests Execute service with efficiency to create an overall positive guest experience Ongoing tasks including - water service, clearing & resetting tables with proper silverware Anticipate servers & guests needs and have guest recognition Maintain a sense of urgency Stand for the entirety of scheduled shift Walk/move around the restaurant for the majority of scheduled shift Qualifications Restaurant experience is preferred but not required Availability weeknights & weekend days/nights is required Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Work Location: In person
