Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Service Advisor, where you'll be the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians. In this energetic role, you will greet customers, assess vehicle needs, and coordinate repairs with precision and enthusiasm. Your mechanical knowledge and customer service expertise will drive customer satisfaction and foster lasting relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing trust and rapport from the moment they walk in. Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues, including diagnostics related to transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, oil changes, auto body repairs, and other automotive repairs. Provide clear explanations of recommended services and estimate costs using auto estimating tools; upsell additional services when appropriate to enhance vehicle performance and safety. Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs efficiently while keeping customers informed about progress. Write detailed service orders and maintain accurate service records in compliance with dealership standards. Handle cash transactions securely and process payments accurately. Promote automotive maintenance programs and additional services that benefit the customer’s vehicle longevity and safety. Experience Previous dealership experience or auto service management background is highly preferred. Proven success in auto estimating, upselling, and delivering exceptional customer service. Hands-on mechanic experience or automotive diagnostics knowledge is a strong asset. Familiarity with a wide range of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension work, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repair. Experience in service writing or automotive repair roles demonstrating mechanical knowledge and attention to detail. Strong sales skills combined with excellent communication abilities to educate customers on vehicle maintenance options confidently.
