Our technology environment supports both office and field operations across multiple business functions, including transportation, project operations, workforce communication, safety systems, and operational infrastructure. The Service Desk Technician plays an important role in helping maintain reliable technology support for employees operating in fast-paced and operationally demanding environments. Position Summary Superior Rigging and Erecting is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support day-to-day technology operations for office personnel, field employees, transportation operations, and operational leadership. This role is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting user issues, supporting Microsoft 365 environments, assisting with Azure Active Directory administration, configuring devices, and helping maintain operational technology systems. This position requires strong customer service skills, professionalism, responsiveness, and the ability to support employees across both office and field environments. This position reports to the Information Technology leadership team. This position requires the candidate to be in office, it is not a remote or hybrid role. Will occasionally travel to other locations. Key Responsibilities Technical Support and User Assistance Provide day-to-day technical support for office and field employees Respond to service desk requests and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues Support Microsoft Office 365 applications and user accounts Assist employees with password resets, account access, software installation, and troubleshooting Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and related technology equipment Support conference room technology and communication systems Maintain professionalism and strong customer service when supporting employees across all levels of the organization Systems and Infrastructure Support Assist with Azure Active Directory and Active Directory user administration Support workstation setup, imaging, software deployment, and device configuration Assist with maintaining user accounts, permissions, and technology inventory Support transportation and operational technology systems when needed Assist with onboarding and offboarding technology processes Coordinate with vendors and external support providers when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and technical issues Operational and Organizational Support Support technology needs across office, operational, and field environments Assist with maintaining operational uptime and responsiveness in fast-paced construction environments Help support workforce communication and operational connectivity Assist with maintaining organized technology inventory and equipment tracking Support cybersecurity awareness and company technology standards Identify recurring technical issues and communicate improvement opportunities to leadership Requirements: CompTIA A+ Certification preferred One to three years of service desk, IT support, or technical support experience preferred Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 environments preferred Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and/or Active Directory administration preferred Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems and hardware Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Ability to communicate effectively with both office and field personnel Experience supporting operational, transportation, or construction-related environments is a plus Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing What We
