Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Journeyman Electrician to join our team and deliver exceptional electrical services across commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. As a Service Journeyman Electrician, you will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality electrical installations, diagnosing issues efficiently, and providing top-tier service to our clients. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute projects. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering strictly to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance. Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into building frameworks like frame carpentry. Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations, ensuring all work meets safety regulations and client specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and incident reports. Assist with schematic reading and interpretation for complex electrical systems to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting. Support ongoing maintenance projects by performing preventative checks and upgrades on existing electrical infrastructure. Training and ability to direct Apprentice Electricians on the jobsite. Experience Must have active Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Texas. Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record. Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong background in construction site work. Hands-on experience working with low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and NEC compliance standards. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers along with power tools like drills and saws. Ability to read technical schematics accurately while working independently or as part of a team on renovation projects. Ability to operate all lifting equipment - Lift Certification is a plus Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and construction best practices ensures quality workmanship at every job site.
