Dusty’s is hiring Irrigation Service Helpers for the upcoming season, and we’re looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who want to grow with us! What You’ll Do As a Service Helper, you’ll assist our technicians in keeping residential and commercial irrigation systems operating at peak performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Assisting with seasonal startups and blowouts Helping complete service and maintenance calls Trenching, pulling pipe, and pressure testing Installing heads, rotors, valves, drip line, bubblers, and other irrigation components Assisting with wiring controllers and valves Operating equipment and maintaining clean, organized job sites and vehicles Supporting technicians with material prep, troubleshooting, and repairs in the field We use a user-friendly, web-based scheduling system managed by our Office Coordinator. Helpers are expected to communicate well with technicians, follow instructions closely, and maintain professionalism while working in customer homes and businesses. Ideal candidates will have: An insurable driving record A strong work ethic and attention to detail The ability to follow instructions and work well with others The desire to learn a skilled trade and grow within the company A professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for working in customer homes, including consideration of highly visible tattoos or imagery that could impact customer comfort Prior irrigation or labor experience (a plus, but not required, we train the right people!) Starting as a Service Helper at Dusty’s can lead to a long-term career as an Irrigation Service Technician for motivated individuals willing to learn the trade. Compensation & Schedule: Pay: $16–$20/hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays Season: Mid-March through October/November, weather depending Bonus: Winter project or snow removal work may be available for those interested Why Work With Us?
