Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily service department activities, ensuring efficient workflow and timely vehicle repairs Lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled service technicians and support staff to achieve departmental goals Manage customer interactions from initial vehicle intake to final delivery, ensuring outstanding service and satisfaction Oversee automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, and auto body repairs Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue through recommended services such as auto estimating, service writing, and additional repairs Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions while ensuring compliance with safety standards and dealership policies Handle cash transactions responsibly and ensure proper documentation for all financial activities Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and automotive diagnostics Extensive mechanic experience with knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, oil changes, brakes, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Skilled in auto estimating software and service writing to accurately document repairs and recommend additional services Strong sales acumen with experience in upselling vehicle maintenance packages and automobile sales opportunities Mechanical knowledge of automotive repair processes combined with hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism in all customer interactions Familiarity with dealership operations including vehicle maintenance scheduling and parts inventory management This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to lead a high-performing team while delivering top-quality automotive care.
