Position Overview BST is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Service Sales Representative – Fire Alarm & Low Voltage to support and grow our Alabama territory. This role is focused on service-based sales, including inspection, testing, maintenance, repairs, and small system upgrades, with an emphasis on long-term customer relationships and recurring revenue. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience selling fire alarm and low voltage services, understands life safety compliance requirements, and thrives in a consultative sales environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a service-focused sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets. Manage and grow an existing customer base while proactively identifying new service opportunities. Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals for inspections, maintenance agreements, repairs, and system enhancements. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using Salesforce, ensuring visibility for branch leadership and corporate partners. Partner closely with branch operations, service managers, and technicians to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and successful execution. Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales and service lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Support Eagle Fire and BST growth initiatives through cross-selling and relationship expansion. Participate in trade shows, customer meetings, product demonstrations, and sales training as needed. Travel within the Alabama territory; occasional overnight travel may be required. Qualifications 2–5 years of proven sales experience in fire alarm and/or low voltage systems, preferably service-based sales. Strong working knowledge of fire alarm inspection, testing, maintenance, and applicable codes (NFPA experience preferred). Experience with security, access control, CCTV, or voice/data systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, system drawings, and specifications for accurate quoting. Results-driven, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong follow-through. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to obtain any required state or local licenses. Authorized to work in the United States.
