Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Service Technician / Handyman / Remodel Repair Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for maintaining, repairing, and remodeling residential and commercial properties. Your energetic approach and hands-on skills will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and remodeling tasks across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile laying, masonry, and roofing. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute renovation or repair projects. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, trim carpentry, concrete finishing, stucco application, and glass or cabinet installation. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Manage construction site activities including heavy equipment operation and material fabrication or customization. Coordinate with project managers to estimate materials needed using construction estimating techniques. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials like caulking or plastering compounds. Assist in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces. Use Bluebeam software for digital project documentation and schematic review when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management, remodeling, or handyman services with a solid understanding of various trades listed above. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction inspection processes. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of construction estimating practices and material procurement processes. Electrical experience and plumbing skills are highly desirable. Ability to perform drywall finishing, flooring installation (including tile), masonry work, roofing repairs, and concrete forming is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; able to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients alike.
