Service Technician (Week Day Shift)

Service Technician – Electronic Security Systems Location: Washington, DC (Fairchild Building) Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10am-8:30pm Employer: Loyal Source Supports: U.S. Capitol Police Overview Loyal Source is seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to support critical security operations for the U.S. Capitol Police. This role is based out of the Fairchild Building in Washington, DC and operates on a four‑day night shift schedule. We’re looking for a technician with strong hands‑on experience in electronic security systems , particularly in servicing and troubleshooting access control and related hardware. Key Responsibilities Service, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems Work with access control components including: Card readers Reader modules Main control panels Electronic locks Door monitoring devices Power supplies Support and maintain basic CCTV systems Utilize computer skills for system diagnostics, updates, and reporting Collaborate with security and law enforcement personnel to ensure system reliability Provide timely and accurate documentation of service activities Qualifications Experience servicing and troubleshooting electronic security systems Strong understanding of access control hardware and system architecture Familiarity with basic CCTV systems Solid computer proficiency Experience with Software House / CCURE systems is preferred, but not required Ability to work independently during night shifts Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Must possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent Pay Rate: $25/hr About Loyal Source Loyal Source provides healthcare and technology solutions designed to improve outcomes and support mission-critical operations.
