Service Writer

High Altitude Trucks is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is critical to keeping the shop organized, profitable, and running smoothly by managing customer communication, building accurate estimates, and supporting our technicians. If you enjoy working with vehicles, talking with customers, and being part of a fast-paced aftermarket shop, this is a great opportunity. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Greet customers and assist with service inquiries Create, update, and manage repair orders and estimates Build estimates using our shop management system ( Tekmetric experience is a plus ) Clearly communicate recommended services, pricing, and timelines to customers Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate estimates and job flow Follow up with customers regarding approvals, updates, and completed work Maintain organized records and documentation Help keep the front office clean, organized, and professional Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37,500.00 - $72,000.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) Employee discount Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
