Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Lead to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, quick service and casual dining environment. As a Shift Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading our team to success. Your leadership will help foster a positive work atmosphere, uphold food safety standards, and maintain high-quality food production. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards Lead and motivate team members through effective supervision, training, and development to deliver outstanding customer service Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular audits, and assisting with food management tasks Supervise kitchen activities including cooking, food production, and maintaining cleanliness standards in line with health regulations Support staff training initiatives by coaching new team members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures Assist in managing restaurant budgets, labor costs, and overall food service management to optimize profitability Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Ensure compliance with all food safety protocols and sanitation standards across the restaurant Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and managing food service operations within quick service or casual dining environments Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and order processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Knowledge of inventory control techniques and food safety regulations Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, kitchen procedures, and hospitality standards Experience in managing shift operations, budgeting, and food production processes Strong communication skills to coordinate team efforts and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours Join us as a Shift Lead to inspire your team, elevate guest experiences, and contribute to the success of our vibrant restaurant.
