Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Lead to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. As a Shift Lead, you will play a vital role in supervising daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team of dedicated staff members. Your leadership will help create a lively, efficient, and welcoming environment for both customers and team members alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while contributing to a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, customer service, and team development, with a strong background in restaurant operations. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experiences Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance on service standards, and safety protocols Control inventory levels through monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Train new staff members on customer service techniques, and operational procedures Support management in implementing policies related to food handling, sanitation, and safety compliance Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty Assist with shift management tasks including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and reporting Skills Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants Excellent leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Familiarity with inventory control practices and food safety regulations Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently Experience in hospitality management environments such as casual dining or fine dining settings Effective communication skills for staff training, interviewing, and customer interactions Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations efficiently under pressure Knowledge of food industry standards including catering, banquets, or hotel food services is a plus Leadership qualities with a focus on training & development and operational excellence Must be able to work in an environment that may require prolonged standing, stooping, bending, twisting, lifting products and supplies up to 50lb.
