Job Description
We're searching for an energetic person with excellent communication and customer service skills to be our next restaurant shift manager.You'll be in charge of running the shift, which will entail greeting and serving clients, supervising the crew and restaurant operations.As a shift manager, you'll be responsible for scheduling employees, delegating work to restaurant employees, handling customer complaints, and ensuring that all food and beverage safety rules are followed.You'll bring strong organizational and team-building abilities, as well as past food-service expertise.If this describes you, please apply immediately!Compensation:$19 per hour Responsibilities:Keep track of inventory and make sure every area is fully stocked by ordering supplies and coordinating product deliveries Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner Arrange for the coverage of responsibilities for staff who can't work their shift Assign tasks to employees and ensure they are completed effectively and properly Oversee, train, and schedule restaurant staff in shifts to ensure compliance and boost productivity levels Qualifications:A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired This position requires previous experience managing a staff or relevant role Prior food service experience is required, as well as the ability to perform different restaurant employee roles About Company Derrick Hayes, a West Philadelphia native, started Big Dave's Cheesesteaks in 2014 in Dunwoody, Georgia.The original location was in a 700-square-foot gas station.Hayes was inspired to bring his West Philly roots to Atlanta after moving there and not being able to find a traditional cheesesteak.He named the restaurant after his late father, who inspired his passion for entrepreneurship.The restaurant grew out of the gas station location and into its own store after lines for cheesesteaks reached up to 200 people..
