Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food production, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the shift, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. Train and develop team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and collaboration. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control to minimize waste and ensure product availability. Implement food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations. Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation. Support the Assistant Manager in operational tasks as needed, including scheduling and performance evaluations. Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and sales tracking. Ensure high standards of culinary quality are met consistently across all food production. Qualifications Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Experience with training development to enhance team performance. Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting principles. Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
