OverviewAs a Shift Opener, you will be the first team member to start the day, setting the tone for a productive and efficient shift.Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that operations begin smoothly, safety protocols are in place, and team members are prepared to deliver exceptional service.This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to lead with enthusiasm, coordinate daily opening procedures, and contribute to a positive work environment from the moment the shift begins.Duties Prepare the workspace by unlocking doors, turning on equipment, and ensuring all areas are clean and organized for the day ahead Conduct safety checks and verify that all safety equipment is functional before operations commence Review daily schedules, communicate any updates or changes to team members, and ensure everyone is ready for their tasks Assist with opening procedures such as inventory checks, cash handling setup, or system logins as required Greet early arriving team members and visitors warmly, fostering a welcoming environment from the start of each shift Monitor initial customer flow or service requests to ensure smooth entry and engagement Document opening activities, noting any issues or discrepancies to be addressed during the shift Hours needed 10 am - 5 pm Experience Previous experience in a customer service or operational role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies comfortably Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and relay important information effectively Detail-oriented mindset with an emphasis on safety protocols and operational accuracy Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities at the start of each shift Join us as a Shift Opener and be the energizing force that launches each day!
