Shipping & Fulfillment Specialist Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Position Overview Crumb City is seeking a dependable, fast-paced Shipping & Fulfillment Specialist to join our bakery operations team. This role is responsible for accurately packing customer orders, preparing shipments, printing shipping materials, and ensuring every package leaves the bakery correctly, securely, and professionally packed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient under pressure, technically capable with printers and shipping systems, and able to work closely with the bakery team to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment speed. Responsibilities Accurately pack all customer orders according to order slips and packing requirements Build and prepare shipping boxes and packaging materials Print order slips, shipping labels, and required fulfillment paperwork Troubleshoot printer issues, jams, connectivity problems, and label alignment when needed Upgrade packaging and box sizes appropriately based on product weight and shipment needs Verify order accuracy before shipment with extreme attention to detail Coordinate with the bakery team for needed cookies, cookie pies, or replacement items Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping station Ensure packages are packed securely to maintain product quality during transit Assist with inventory organization and packaging supply management Follow company fulfillment procedures and shipping deadlines Qualifications Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable using printers, shipping software, and fulfillment systems Problem-solving mindset with basic technical troubleshooting ability Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly Ability to stand for the entire shift Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and punctuality required Previous shipping, warehouse, fulfillment, or bakery experience preferred but not required Ideal Candidate You thrive in a fast-moving environment, move quickly without sacrificing accuracy, and take pride in making sure every customer receives the correct order.
