(ADI) manufactures machined parts and assemblies for the commercial and military aerospace industries. It offers structural components, caps, panels, bulkheads, fittings, longerons, spars, chords, wing ribs, thrust reversers, structural machine parts, manufacturing tooling and stretch form blocks. ADI was acquired by PCC in April 2014. The company has received significant capital investments since the acquisition and has a highly positive growth trajectory ahead. Comprising seven facilities on its campus in Valencia, CA, ADI has over 240 full-time employees on staff. Position Summary: Level One shipping/receiving clerks will be expected to work under direct supervision and complete basic shipping and receiving tasks. These tasks include loading and unloading trucks, verifying packaging slips and order content, and performing visual inspection. Additionally, shipping/receiving clerks may be responsible for packaging product for either outside processing or finished goods. Clerks must be able to perform basic packaging skills such as part protection, verifying packaging information, boxing, taping, wrapping, stenciling, banding, weighing, etc. Clerks must be certified to operate a forklift in order to move materials. They will also be expected to demonstrate basic computer and clerical skills for recordkeeping. This is an entry level position that typically requires 0-1 years of experience. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Must maintain clean and orderly work area while following safety instructions. Must maintain good attendance according to shift-times or pre-arranged work schedule Load and unload delivery trucks and examining shipments for defects or shortages according to packing slips Following instructions to properly package materials for shipping Perform basic packaging skills to ensure that parts are not damaged in transit. Required Skills: Ability to follow direction and execute basic shipping and receiving tasks. Basic computer skills (MS Word and MS Outlook) Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English. Position requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs., carry up to 20ft and load parts in fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. Required Experience: No experience necessary Level of Education: GED or High School diploma preferred but not required. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.25 to $24.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
