Local to Colorado only! We're a small company in Broomfield that makes tablet and eReader covers, geek gear, nerd shwag, toys, and novelty items, and we're currently looking for new members to add to our team! We've got a creative workspace in Broomfield and we're hiring our operation and hiring hands to help us with our projects.At present, we need:Shipping / Assembly This position is for a shipper for prepping and organizing shipments to go to our customers.We make products of our own, and also handle warehousing and fulfillment for a number of clients.We have a small warehouse with over a hundred boxes of inventory, and you'll be picking and packing orders from that stock.We also have a variety of smaller projects that will require material processing, building boxes, managing inventory, etc.You'll also be working within our shipping environment to weigh, measure, and prep shipments, scan and process returns, fill and send orders out, and meet shipping deadlines for clients.We also have a wide range of products that usually need some basic finishing or assembly - painting, gluing, clear-coating, peeling maskings, etc - nothing too terribly complicated, but helps streamline our production.When we're not actively working on filling current orders, we're working on unique projects for a wide variety of clients.If you like to work on projects and see ideas come to life, you'll probably like our environment.Attention to detail is big, as is reliability, working efficiently, the ability to work independently on projects or tasks assigned to you, and ability to meet deadlines.Responsibilities:Quality control of ordersDaily order processingOrganizing and inventorying of SKUsInventory allocation for our traveling conventionsOrdering of suppliesCommunication with the production team about project timelinesPrioritizing of the work queueAssembly and item finishing The pay is $20/hour, with some benefits available.Hours run 20-40 hours per week, with a fair amount of flexibility.Our workshop is right near the bus lines.Please submit a resume (no drop-ins, please!), and why you would you would like to be considered.We look forward to hearing from you!
