_ Shipping Clerk _ _ Van Nuys, CA _ _ Full time - Temp to hire _ _ Monday through Friday - 8am to 5:30pm _ _ $18hr to $21hr depending on experience. _ A premier converter of tissue, towel, and napkin products, as well as a trusted importer of janitorial and foodservice disposables, with a deep commitment to quality and innovation, delivering a wide range of high-performance products designed to meet the needs of consumers, businesses, and industries across the globe, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team in Van Nuys._ Summary _:The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, documentation, and shipment of outbound orders.This role plays a critical part in ensuring product integrity, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction while supporting warehouse and logistics operations._ Responsibilities: _ Prepare and process outbound shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders. Verify shipment contents against orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. Generate and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels. Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory or ERP systems as required. Inspect outgoing products for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory counts and organization. Adhere to all safety, quality, and company procedures._ Qualifications: _ High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred. Familiarity with shipping software, ERP systems, and common carriers is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills.
