About Little Giant Ladder Systems:Founded in 1972, Little Giant Ladder Systems is a leader in the ladder industry, recognized for our innovative and quality products.We pride ourselves in providing safe and reliable climbing solutions for both professionals and homeowners.General Description:The Shipping Clerk/Forklift Driver operates forklifts to manage commercial vehicles in loading and unloading products to and from the warehouses and storage facilities.Ensuring to maintain a smooth workflow by regularly checking and maintaining the health and performance of each forklift.This position is also accountable for assuring to comply with legal and company safety requirements.Roles and Responsibilities:Operates the forklift to load or unload products or items from cargo or delivery trucks.Determines and reports broken and defective materials to the superiors or management Transports goods and products into and out of the warehouse, supply chains, or sorting hubs.Ensures workflow and performance efficiency by managing products to be loaded to the forklifts.Prepares orders for delivery or shipping by sorting, packing, labelling, and sealing products.Conducts regular inspection, maintenance, and repairs of all forklifts to ensure operational efficiency and safety.Make sure to comply with the company's and state's safety rules and regulations.Competencies:Must have outstanding skills in time management and multitasking.Should possess excellent eye-hand coordination.Has exemplary written and verbal communication skills.Possesses strong attention to detail and safety.Should have good analytical and decision-making skills.Must be highly motivated and results oriented.Has exceptional ability to work effectively alone and under pressure.Experience and Education: General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent. A state driver's license Preferably has completed the forklift operator training program by the Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) At least 3-5 years of experience working as a Forklift Driver or Operator, or any similar position. Deep understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and other OSHA regulation Familiar with the usage of the Radio Frequency Scanner and other inventory tools Sound knowledge of the parts, function, and maintenance of forklifts and other industrial trucks Position is Monday thorugh Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm Pay:$18.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
