We’re looking for a motivated Shipping Lead to help lead outbound warehouse operations and support a high-performing distribution team. Position Overview The Shipping Lead is a hands-on warehouse leadership role responsible for coordinating outbound shipping, order fulfillment, freight activities, and shipping workflow optimization. This is not a transportation dispatch role — it is an operational warehouse leadership position focused on team support, process improvement, safety, and shipping accuracy. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse shipping operations, freight coordination, inventory systems, and team leadership in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Fulfillment Operations Coordinate outbound shipping, picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities Support carrier scheduling and outbound freight coordination Assist with shipment tracking, dock scheduling, and freight documentation Ensure accurate and timely order processing and shipment preparation Maintain efficient warehouse flow and outbound operational performance Leadership & Continuous Improvement Help lead and support warehouse shipping team members Assist with onboarding and training employees on SOPs and operational procedures Track and report shipping KPIs and operational performance metrics Maintain OSHA safety compliance and safe warehouse practices Support Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal SOPs Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence Qualifications 2–5 years of stable lead experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments required Experience with outbound shipping and freight carrier coordination required Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and WMS/ERP systems Forklift certification and hands-on equipment experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment High school diploma or equivalent required OSHA knowledge preferred ISO 9001 auditing experience preferred Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred Why Join Us?
