Shipping & Quality Control Associate World's Best Cheeses-ARMONK NY Onsite Refrigerated Warehouse Environment World's Best Cheeses is one of America's leading specialty food importers and distributors.We offer more than 4,000 products sourced from around the world and serve over 3,000 customers nationwide.While most deliveries go out on our own fleet of trucks, we also ship urgent and long-distance orders via FedEx and UPS.We are seeking a highly careful, detail-oriented team member to ensure our delicate cheeses are packed and shipped safely so they arrive in perfect condition.This role combines FedEx shipping responsibilities with warehouse quality control.Key Responsibilities FedEx Shipping Carefully pack perishable, high-value cheese orders for overnight shipment Ensure proper insulation, temperature control, and presentation Verify order accuracy before shipment Coordinate daily FedEx and UPS pickups Quality Control & Warehouse Support Verify picking and shipping accuracy for key accounts and high-value customers Process customer returns and investigate quality issues Break down incoming air shipments Conduct cycle counts and monitor date rotation Help maintain product freshness and inventory accuracy Reinforce warehouse best practices related to product handling, temperature, and food safety Requirements Extremely detail-oriented and careful Comfortable working in a refrigerated cooler for extended periods Able to lift 40-50 lbs Reliable and punctual Previous warehouse, shipping, or food-handling experience preferred Interest in specialty food or cheese is a plus (not required) Work Environment Onsite position (no remote option) Majority of time spent in a refrigerated warehouse Fast-paced environment, especially during peak shipping days Schedule Monday-Thursday:8:00am-5:00pm Friday:8:00am-4:00pm 30-minute lunch break daily Benefits Health insurance (Company pays 80% for individual coverage; employee pays 20%.Family coverage available at employee expense) 401(k) plan with 4% company match after one year Job Type:Full-time Pay:$25.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
