Job Description
Overview Earth MotorCars is one of the premier luxury and exotic dealerships in the country.We are seeking a Master Detailer and Paint Correction Specialist to ensure our world-class inventory of classic, exotic, and luxury vehicles is presented in Concours condition.This is a high-stakes, fast-paced role where your work will be the face of the company.You will be responsible for prepping vehicles for professional photography, national auctions (such as Bring a Trailer and Barrett-Jackson), and white-glove client deliveries.If you have an obsession for perfection and a deep respect for automotive history and engineering, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities Elite Surface Correction:Perform multi-stage machine buffing, polishing, and wet sanding to remove defects and achieve a mirror-like finish on both vintage lacquer and modern clear coats.Media & Photo Prep:Collaborate with our photography team to ensure every vehicle is camera-ready. This includes a meticulous eye for dust, streaks, and tire dressing before the shutter clicks.Engine & Undercarriage Reconditioning:Execute deep-level cleaning of engine bays and undercarriages to showroom standards, ensuring mechanical components look as good as the bodywork.Comprehensive Detailing:Manage full interior and exterior reconditioning, including leather restoration, metal/chrome polishing, and intricate trim cleaning.Final Delivery QC:Perform the final gold standard check on vehicles before they are delivered to high-net-worth collectors nationwide.Minor Aesthetics:Perform paint touch-ups and chip repairs to enhance the vehicle's overall presentation.Qualifications Experience:5years of professional detailing experience, specifically working with classic muscle, European exotics, and luxury SUVs.Technical Mastery:Expert proficiency with rotary and dual-action (DA) polishers.You must be comfortable wet sanding high-value paint.The Eye:An uncompromising attention to detail--you see the swirl marks and dust specks that others miss.Efficiency:Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines for daily photo schedules and transport pickups without sacrificing quality.Professionalism:A clean driving record and the ability to move and maneuver high-value vehicles safely within the shop and showroom.Knowledge:Familiarity with high-end chemical lines and the latest ceramic/sealant technologies.Pay:$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):Can you describe your experience with paint correction, specifically regarding the different techniques you use for a 1960s lacquer finish versus a modern exotic's clear coat?
