Global Parking Systems - Kenner MSY Operations’ administrative offices are located on the ground floor of the Economy Garage on Airline Drive. Scope of Position The Shuttle Bus Supervisor position is under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and Asst. Transportation Manager. The Shuttle Bus Supervisor is responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective flow of business operations including exceptional customer satisfaction. The Shuttle Bus Supervisor position supervises and directs operational activities during a particular shift. The Shuttle Bus Supervisor must be able to communicate with employees’ working directly for them. Also, Shuttle Driver Supervisors must be able to hold employees accountable for their daily responsibilities. Further, the Shuttle Bus Supervisor must be able to know and train employees in the area of safety including proper driving methods and proper working methods. In addition to operational duties, the Shuttle Bus Supervisor also answers routine questions from employees and customers, assembles highly confidential and sensitive information, deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the operation and can include days, evenings, weekends and occasional overnight. Overnight work may be dominant if that is the shift hired to work. Shuttle Bus Supervisors are not permitted to be employed with any other company without the express approval of the Operations Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the Shuttle Bus Supervisor position successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty and responsibility listed below with minimal supervision: · Handle customer and employee complaints according to guidelines provided · Assist with the upkeep of shuttle buses · Review Supervisor logs daily and initial; including days and shifts not on duty · Be prepared to stay to fill shifts due to call-offs · Assist in the management of the day-to-day shuttle operation including operational reports · Supervise shuttle drivers and the monitoring of shuttle bus operations · Ensure appropriate driver and customer interaction · Ensure driver compliance with shuttle operation reports · Drive shuttles as needed · Maintain valid CDL with passenger endorsement · Notify management of unusual occurrences and operational issues as required · Maintain and read emails and other communications from team members and management · Monitor the performance of all employees on your shift and provide feedback as appropriate · Train in all shuttle operations, procedures and policies · Read and review all manuals and complete all training as assigned · Provide notification to management of policy infractions committed by employees · Enforce company policies and procedures · Additional duties as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Asst. Transportation Manager · Possess a valid state-issued commercial driver’s license to be carried with driver, at all times, while on duty · Have and maintain an acceptable DMV record · Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have · Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager and/or Sr. Facility Manager · Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the Facility Manager and/or Sr. Facility Manager · Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage · Assist the Asst. Transportation Manager and/or Operations Manager as needed · Obey all federal, state, and local laws including traffic laws regarding proper operation of shuttle bus · Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction · Handle
