Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer/Cut Guy to join our dynamic construction team.In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and installing various types of siding materials to enhance the exterior appearance and durability of residential and commercial buildings.Your expertise in handling hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques will ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient project completion.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in siding installation while contributing to beautiful, long-lasting exteriors.Duties Measure and cut siding materials precisely according to project specifications using hand tools, power tools, and schematics Install a variety of siding types including vinyl, fiber cement, LP Smartside, metal panels, and other exterior cladding materials Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and framing as needed for seamless installation Read blueprints and schematics to determine proper placement and alignment of siding components Assist with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, framing, masonry work, or restoration projects as required Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move large siding panels or materials around the job site Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on siding installation or related trades such as roofing, framing, or remodeling Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (saws, drills), and fabrication equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise cuts and flawless installation Prior experience with metal stud framing, plumbing rough-ins, tile laying or masonry is a plus Excellent teamwork attitude with handyman experience or carpentry background preferred Must provide all your own basic hand tools Join our team to build exceptional exteriors that stand the test of time!
