A school-based opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support a PreK classroom in Lincoln, NE. This part-time, onsite contract position offers approximately 3.75 hours per day of engaging work within a dynamic educational setting. The role starts as soon as possible and continues through May 22, 2026. Responsibilities include facilitating clear and effective communication between hearing-impaired students, their teachers, and peers, ensuring all students have equitable access to the classroom curriculum and activities. You will work closely with educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Key qualifications and experience Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter with demonstrated experience in educational settings Ability to interpret effectively for young learners in a PreK classroom environment Willingness to work onsite at the designated location in Lincoln, NE Holding a valid Sign Language Interpreter license is preferred; however, candidates with a provisional license and an EIPA score below 4.0 will be considered This position requires onsite presence to provide immediate and responsive interpretation services, supporting seamless communication during classroom activities.
