Job Description
Plant Manager Objective of the position: Oversee all operations of the plant, including Receiving, Sanitation, Quality, Packaging, Extrusion, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, Scheduling, Safety, Food Safety, Budgeting, Office Administration, SQF Responsibilities, and FSMA. Tasks and Responsibilities Perform objectives as assigned by senior management. Maintain budgets. Evaluate labor and staffing. Manage plant efficiencies. Manage employee bonus programs. Oversee all operations of facility. Ensure company trainings are performed as required. Various other duties as assigned by Senior VP of Operations. Supports and implements continuous improvement programs. Reviews and maintains various Key Performance Indicators. Provides plant feedback to corporate personnel. Assists in plant scheduling for efficiencies and food safety/quality. Responsible for ensuring product produced meets company's standards, specifications, policies and practices. Food Quality and Safety: Ensure all Food Quality and Food Safety procedures are followed. Ensures there is a management commitment to the Food Quality and Food Safety Programs. Follow company cGMP program. Responds to and supports food safety issues. Backup to SQF Practitioner (if needed). Alphia is an equal opportunity employer.
