Site Director - BeforeAfter School Program Location:Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning 2510 N Chestnut St Colorado Springs, CO 80907 This post expires on April 16th, 2026 Pay:$22-$25/hour (biweekly pay) Schedule:Monday-Friday Split Shift 6:30 am - 8:00 am2:30 pm - 6:00 pm Approximately 30 hours per week, including planning and administrative time About Leading Edge Leading Edge is a trusted provider of before-school, after-school, and summer programs serving elementary and middle schools nationwide.Designed by educators and youth development experts, our programs support students beyond the school day through academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, physical activity, and hands-on exploration.We partner closely with schools and families to create safe, inclusive, and engaging environments where every child can thrive.Position Overview Leading Edge is growing in Colorado, and we are seeking a Site Director to lead our Before and After School Program at Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning.Site Directors are responsible for shaping the culture of their site, driving curriculum, mentoring staff, ensuring compliance with licensing standards, and building strong partnerships within the school community.This role requires consistent availability for both morning and afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday, to ensure continuity of care for students and staff.Curriculum Leadership Site Directors are empowered to create engaging, student-centered programming aligned with Leading Edge's six core labs, while tailoring activities to meet the needs of their specific school community.Six Core Labs:Challenge Lab:Critical thinking and team-based games Art Enrichment Lab:Creative expression through various mediums Homework Lab:Structured academic support Physical Lab:Movement-based games and activities Reading Lab:Literacy development and group reading STEM Lab:Hands-on science and technology exploration Site Directors collaborate with students, families, staff, and school leadership to ensure programming is engaging, responsive, and impactful.Key Responsibilities Train, supervise, and support site staff Design and implement a curriculum aligned with the six core labs Oversee all aspects of daily program operations Ensure compliance with Colorado licensing and safety standards Maintain staff-to-student ratios and supervise transitions Build strong relationships with school staff and families Manage attendance, documentation, and incident reporting Support onboarding and coaching of new team members Foster a structured, inclusive, and positive environment for students Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred At least 1 year of leadership experience in education or licensed childcare At least 2 years of experience working with school-aged children Must meet or be able to meet Colorado state licensing requirements Reliable transportation to and from the school site Comfortable using web-based systems and technology Next Steps in the Hiring Process If selected to move forward, you will be invited to complete a full application through our company website.Once your application is reviewed, selected candidates will be invited to schedule a 30-minute Zoom meeting with our Talent Specialist to ensure the role is a strong mutual fit.Accommodations can be made for candidates who are not able to participate in a video interview.Leading Edge BeforeAfter School is an Equal Opportunity Employer..
