Job Description
The Site Supervisor is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing a daily School Age Child Care (SACC) program designed to meet the physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs of a diverse group of children.This position provides leadership to a team of Paraprofessionals and Aide staff, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.The Site Supervisor models professionalism, positive communication, and child-centered practices in all interactions with children, families, staff, and the community.Your Role Will Include:Program Leadership - Plan, implement, and oversee daily activities that meet the physical, social, and developmental needs of school-age children, ensuring alignment with State Guidelines.Establish routines that encourage independence and create a positive, inclusive environment.Child Safety & Well-Being - Maintain a safe and healthy program environment; monitor children and staff for health and safety concerns; respond appropriately and report suspected abuse or neglect as required.Family & Community Engagement - Build strong, positive relationships with parents/guardians, provide regular updates, and maintain accurate student and family records.Staff Supervision & Development - Lead, coach, and evaluate Paraprofessionals and Aide staff; approve schedules and payroll; model professional behavior; and facilitate staff meetings.Professional Development - Maintain required training hours, First Aid/CPR certification, and participate in ongoing professional development to support program quality and compliance.Collaboration & Other Duties - Partner with co-Site Supervisors for non-school day programming, attend leadership meetings, and complete additional tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Degree in Education, Child Development, or related field OR 1 year (2,080 hours) of experience in a child care/development setting.At least 120 documented training hours in child development, guidance, or related areas.Supervisory experience in a School Age Child Care (SACC) program.(Preferred) Current First Aid and CPR certification.Successful completion of DCYF/DHS background check.Reliable attendance and strong communication skills.Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, Word, Excel).Ability to work effectively with children, families, staff, and diverse communities.Salary and Benefits:$24.17 per hour.Paid time off.Benefits eligible.Location & Shift Times:Location:TBD , FT, Split Shift, Year Round plus Non-School days and Summer(straight shift).Monday, 6:15-10:30 AM & 2:30-6:15 PM.Tuesday:6:15-11:15 AM & 2:30-6:15 PM.Wednesday:6:15-9:45 AM & 2:30-6:15 PM.Thursday:6:15-10:30 AM & 2:15-6:15 PM (1st Thursday of each month:6:15-9:30 AM & 2:15-7:15 PM for meetings).Friday:6:15-10:30 AM & 2:30-6:15 PM.If you are passionate about working with children, leading a team, and creating a safe, engaging environment where students can grow and thrive, we encourage you to apply.Join us in making a difference in the lives of children and families every day! hGOL0p6OND.
