Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate site development projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. The ideal candidate will possess such traits as; attention to detail, ability to work in cooperation with other team members and sub contractors, ability to read and translate site plans, and the willingness to never stop perfecting their craft. Responsibilities Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years experience in a Skid Steer. Candidate must have the ability to perform various tasks with a Skid Steer including, but not limited to; Rough grade, finish grade, house pad set, cutting In/building swales of various types, and root raking/land clearing. the ideal candidate would also have knowledge and experience running loaders and hoes. Load and unload equipment for transportation. Load different materials and aggregates into dump trucks for export Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate operations and ensure project timelines are met. Must have a clean driving record within past 3 years. Subject to random drug and alcohol testing. WE ARE A DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE. Skills Proven experience operating mainly Skid Steers, as well as, other types of construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators. Ability to perform various tasks as it relates to land clearing, rough and finish grading, pond digging, forestry mulching, constructing swales, etc. Valid CDL Class A is a PLUS. May qualify for additional pay If applicable. Hands-on experience with construction site operations and familiarity with safety standards. Ability to read and interpret site plans or blueprints when necessary. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and sub contractors. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
