Skilled Construction Laborer

San Diego County | Residential Remodels, ADUs & Custom Construction Elemental Horizon Construction is a family-owned construction company specializing in high-quality residential remodels, ADUs, additions, custom homes, multi-unit residential construction, and condominium renovation projects throughout San Diego County. We are looking for skilled and dependable construction workers who take pride in their work and want to grow with a professional, team-oriented company. This is not an entry-level labor position, but we are also not expecting someone to know every trade. We are looking for individuals who already have solid experience in at least some areas of residential construction and are willing to continue learning and expanding their skillset in the field. For example: One employee may have strong drywall, plumbing, or cabinet experience Another may be stronger in framing, demolition, or rough carpentry Others may have experience assisting electricians, tile setters, painters, or finish crews We value workers who are confident in the skills they do have, willing to jump in where needed, and committed to producing quality work. Because much of our work takes place inside occupied homes, professionalism matters. We are looking for team members who are respectful, clean, trustworthy, and able to conduct themselves appropriately around homeowners, families, children, and pets. Responsibilities: Assist with residential remodel and construction projects throughout San Diego County Perform demolition, site preparation, cleanup, and material handling Assist with framing, drywall, cabinetry, finish carpentry, plumbing prep, or other trade-related tasks depending on experience Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Work collaboratively with foremen, subcontractors, and team members Follow company safety standards and OSHA requirements Report to job sites on time and ready to work What We’re Looking For: Experience in residential construction, remodeling, or one or more construction trades Strong skills in at least some areas of construction work Willingness to learn additional trades and grow within the company Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Professional attitude and respectful communication Reliable transportation preferred Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Candidates should have their own basic hand tools appropriate for their experience level. Company provides larger equipment and specialty tools.
