Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting various phases of construction projects by performing a wide range of hands-on tasks. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial builds, utilizing your technical skills and construction knowledge to make a tangible impact. Duties Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, roofing, and concrete finishing. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans. Perform construction inspection duties to ensure work meets quality standards and safety regulations. Install various building components including doors, windows, cabinets, trim carpentry, stucco, and glass. Conduct concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and heavy equipment operation as needed on-site. Support specialized tasks such as plumbing installations, electrical wiring, welding, restoration work, and hardscape or landscaping projects. Skills Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation in a construction environment. Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes to support project planning. Strong understanding of construction inspection procedures to maintain quality control. Skilled in various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), roofing, masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, and welding. Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and document management is a plus.
