Skilled Construction Worker / Multi-Trade Construction TechnicianJob Description Solid Assets LLC is hiring a skilled construction worker / multi-trade construction technician to help with renovation, repair, maintenance, and construction work on residential and investment properties. We are looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and experienced in one or more construction trades. The ideal candidate can work independently, take direction, show up on time, and complete quality work without needing constant supervision. Experience in any of the following areas is preferred: Electrical work Plumbing work Framing Drywall hanging and finishing Roofing Siding General remodeling Flooring Painting Trim work Property maintenance General repair work Candidates with one strong specialty are welcome to apply. Candidates who are truly skilled in multiple trades and can handle full renovation or repair projects will be eligible for higher pay. Pay $17.50 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. Starting pay depends on what you can actually do: $17.50/hour — single-trade experience or general skilled labor $18–$20/hour — strong experience in multiple areas $21/hour — highly skilled multi-trade worker who can handle electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, roofing, siding, and finish work with limited supervision Pay may increase based on reliability, speed, quality of work, and ability to manage projects. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include Performing repairs and renovations on residential properties Framing walls, hanging drywall, and completing finish work Basic electrical and plumbing repairs, depending on experience Roofing and siding repairs Installing doors, trim, cabinets, fixtures, and other materials Painting, patching, flooring, and general remodeling work Troubleshooting maintenance issues Keeping job sites clean and organized Picking up materials when needed Working safely and following instructions Communicating clearly about project status, materials, and problems Requirements Prior construction, remodeling, or maintenance experience required Must be reliable and show up on time Must be able to work during normal business hours Must have basic hand tools Must be able to lift materials and perform physical labor Must have transportation to job sites or the office Must be able to follow directions and complete work properly Must take pride in clean, professional work Must be honest, responsible, and respectful around tenants, owners, and other workers Preferred Qualifications Experience in more than one construction trade Ability to work independently Ability to estimate materials needed for a job Experience working on rental properties or residential renovations Driver’s license Own tools Ability to troubleshoot problems without being walked through every step Schedule Part-time or full-time opportunities may be available depending on skill level and workload.
