Job Description LawnScape of Dallas(LOD) is hiring a Small Engine Mechanic responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining outdoor power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, tillers, and chainsaws. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance, an understanding of engine parts and how they work, and is reliable and hardworking. Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, spark plug replacement, blade sharpening, air filter replacement, and fuel system cleaning. Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and safety concerns before and after repairs. Troubleshoot engine, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, ignition, and carburetor systems. Order, track, and replace parts while maintaining accurate repair records. Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns in the field when required. Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
