Job Description
JOB Maintains and repairs motorized equipment. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Maintains and repairs small complex to less complicated motorized equipment such as generators, pool pumps, tractors, weed-eaters, edgers, grass cutters, blowers, trimmers, walking and riding mowers.2. Analyzes and determines cause of equipment malfunctions; receives work orders and select appropriate tools materials.3. Test repairs to assure conformity to procedures. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Physical Requirements: 1. Tasks involve sedentary to light work, involving some reaching, handling, fingering and/or feeling of objects and material.2. May involve moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and that may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (12-50 pounds). May require perception and discrimination of color, sound, odor as well as visual and the ability for effective communication.4. Job must be performed with or without accommodations.Work Environment: 1. Tasks may require exposure to extreme temperatures, strong odors, toxic/poisonous agents, smoke, dust, pollen, water, humidity, bright/dim lights, noise extreme,and machinery.Travel: Some travel will be required from location to location.Career Progression: Any higher class or level which eligible and qualified.
