Small Production Kitchen/British Themed

Join our small production kitchen team and work together with us to meet a daily quota and make sure our food trucks run efficiently.London Calling is a family run, British themed company.We specialize in making the Cornish pasty (a hand held pot pie) in this kitchen.We are looking for team members that can assist us in our central kitchen by cross training in all of our food preparation areas.We will train on all the tasks but some food prep background is necessary.You will also help with cleaning our fish and chips truck.This includes filtering and cleaning fryers, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes and stocking.This job offers 35-40 hours per week.Hours are Monday-Friday, 6 am to 2:30.Experience in working with commercial bread dough, pizza dough or pie dough, calzones or other food manufacturing is helpful.Experience with cleaning fryers is beneficial.Food safety background is very important.Positive, helpful attitudes are a must.Team work is critical to this position as is self direction.This position requires a lot of hand work and standing and some lifting (up to 40 lbs).There is some work in a large walk-in freezer for short amounts of time and lifting and pushing is required there.Send me your work history and tell me a little about what you are looking for in a position.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $16.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location:In person.
