Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience Assist shoppers in locating products and answer questions about merchandise, features, and benefits Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight key features and encourage purchases Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting with inventory replenishment Upsell products by recommending complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain a clean, organized store environment adhering to health and safety standards Use strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members in a bilingual environment if applicable Skills Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Proven supervising or leadership experience in retail or similar settings Ability to perform retail math for sales transactions, discounts, and inventory counts accurately Skilled in conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of merchandising strategies for appealing displays and effective stock organization Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with grocery store operations is beneficial but not required Basic math skills for daily retail tasks such as balancing registers and calculating totals Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
