Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary: We are looking for a hands-on SMT / Electronics Manufacturing Engineer with experience in PCB assembly processes. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and optimizing SMT production lines, improving yield, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support end-to-end SMT process (solder paste printing, placement, reflow, inspection) Troubleshoot defects related to soldering, components, and assembly Work on process improvement, yield enhancement, and quality control Handle SPI, AOI, and X-ray inspection processes Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and line setup activities Ensure compliance with IPC standards and manufacturing guidelines Coordinate with cross-functional teams (quality, production, engineering) Required Skills & Experience: Experience in SMT / PCB assembly / electronics manufacturing Hands-on knowledge of solder paste printing, pick & place, and reflow ovens Familiarity with inspection systems (SPI, AOI, X-ray) Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards Experience with troubleshooting and defect analysis Exposure to equipment like Koh Young, Fuji, Mycronic, BTU, Nordson (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. Good to Have: Experience in conformal coating, selective soldering, or underfill Knowledge of MES systems like FactoryLogix - NPI and process optimization experience
