Job Description
Position:Snack Bar Employee Reports to:Catering Director Job Overview:As a Snack Bar Wor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food, processing orders, and ensuring smooth operations at the snack bar.The role includes various duties, such as cashier, expeditor, and grill/line cook, ensuring that all customers receive timely and quality service.Key Responsibilities:Cashier Greet customers and take food and beverage orders.Process orders accurately and efficiently using the POS (Point of Sale) system.Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and provide change as necessary.Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.Answer customer questions regarding the menu, prices, and specials.Ensure all payments are processed correctly and provide receipts.Expeditor Confirm that all items in an order have been properly prepared before they are served to the customer.Verify that food is prepared to specifications and meets quality standards.Coordinate with the grill/line cook to ensure food items are ready in a timely manner.Ensure that all food items are presented in an appetizing and professional manner.Double-check orders for accuracy and ensure that any special requests are fulfilled.Manage the food ticket system to ensure quick and efficient service.Grill/Line Cook Work the grill and deep fryer to prepare hot food items according to recipes and customer specifications.Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures, ensuring safety and quality.Set up and break down the grill/line area, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock.Follow all health and safety guidelines in preparing food.Cook, assemble, and package items quickly and efficiently for timely service.Assist with inventory control and ensure all food items are stocked and prepared..
