Job Description
This role is a senior‑level embedded security engineer focused on protecting hardware and low‑level software inside chips and secure devices. You’d be responsible for designing and reviewing security features built directly into things like SoCs and secure elements —making sure they’re secure before they ever go into production. A big part of the job is: Designing security architectures for hardware and firmware Thinking like an attacker —modeling how systems could be hacked and stopping those attacks early Reviewing low‑level code and RTL to catch security issues Running pre‑silicon security reviews before chips are manufactured Helping development teams build security the right way and answering technical questions Working with customers and certification bodies to support security evaluations This is a hands‑on, technical role , not policy or compliance‑only. You’re deep in the design and review process. Qualifications: Degree in Cryptography, Security, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering Minimum of 10 years industry experience in the design and development of Embedded Secure Systems. Strong knowledge of SoCs and/or Secure Element products Security background, ideally experience in embedded security Familiar with “state of the art” CAD tools (e.g. Cadence, …) Knowledge of Hardware description languages (System Verilog, VHDL) Willing to travel internationally
